The architect’s job here is to simplify interiors and make them agreeably usable by removing all encumbrances and clarifying the sense and purpose of their spaces. That is true in homes, truer in offices and workplaces, and truer still in the branches, agencies and so-called “tellers” used by service companies to establish direct contact with the public. In the case of the Hera Group, the goal appeared even more ambitious, with the company aiming to construct relations with its customers based on efficiency and friendliness. Thus a system of furniture and finishings was born, testifying to Hera’s philosophy in its essence and communicating with a simple and direct style, through a comfortably calm but dynamic atmosphere.
The design is composed of individual pieces of furniture arranged to combine overall visibility with the circumscribed privacy of those seated at effectively screened tables. The light and natural finishings bestow a clean and welcoming image on the establishment. Yellow was the colour chosen by the company for its signage, identifying customer consultancy and meeting areas.
