The area of Mtskheta is an area protected by UNESCO and deserves all the attention and sensitivity not to affect dramatically the atmosphere of quiet contemplation that the site evokes, due to the increase of the tourism and the intensification of the traffic.
Only a symbol with strong evocations may deserve to be constructed without affecting the historical landscape and without offending a place so full of civil and religious symbols.
The bridge crosses with a single suspended walkway the river, the parking lot and the highway remaining a significant presence but thin and transparent, strong enough to mark the minds of visitors with a new symbol that adds to the long history of Mtskheta also the history of today.
